Auto Show

Little slow on the updates. I have had cabin fever real bad. this cold weather is killing, I am dying to get out and take some pictures. I'm sure my loving wife loves being dragged to the car show so I can get my photo fix.

Finally got this image. It took me a while and lots of shots. I'm not completely happy but it will have to do. It needs a more interesting pose from my daughter.

This is a composite from about 8 or 9 images. A few long exposures to get the water to expose properly and then some quick ones at a high iso to get some people and sharks in crisper focus.

It was crowded so I had to take a bunch of images to photoshop out quite a few people. We bought a season pass to the Camden Aquarium so I'm sure I'll be trying to recreate this one many times.

Henry Avenue Bridge

Last week I had to take a trip out the The Henry Avenue Bridge in Philadelphia. The bridge is a very large stone and concrete bridge that crosses Henry Avenue Creek and Lincoln Drive in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia. Its a massive structure.

The company I work for had done a rehab project on this bridge a few years ago and we needed to get some post construction photos. So I brought along my camera and my new toy, a Tamron 10-24mm wide angle lens. I have never used a lens this wide before and, well, you can see from the photos why I'm going to like this thing.
